Use Affirmations to Creative a Positive Mindset
All Journey 180 Transformation - A Step at a Time

Creating a positive mindset is essential for achieving success and happiness in life. I'm sure you've heard this before and probably agree that its true. However, reprogramming your brain isn't as easy as those sci-fi movies, right?

I hear you. I've been there. As a teen, I struggled with my self-confidence and self-esteem. I feared judgment and wished I had been born someone else. However, over time, I've not only been able to shift what I think of myself, but I've also helped my students in high school do the same. They have been able to go from the student who dreads speaking in class to the one to adds to class discussions and invites other shy kids to share their perspectives.

As you know, negative self-talk can be harmful to your mental health, and it can prevent you from achieving your goals. However, by using daily affirmations to overcome negative self-talk, you can counteract these negative thoughts and replace them with positive and uplifting ones. By repeating affirmations such as "I am capable of achieving my goals," "I am worthy of success," and "I am enough," you can train your mind overcome negative self-talk and replace it with positive and empowering beliefs.

Incorporating daily affirmations into your daily routine is easy.

Choose a few statements that resonate with you and repeat them to yourself every morning and evening.  You can write affirmations on sticky notes and place them around your home or office, or you can use your Journey 180 Planner to write down your affirmation in the daily planning section. The key is to make affirmations a part of your daily routine and to repeat them often. When you repeat these affirmations regularly, they can help reprogram your subconscious mind and replace negative beliefs and thought patterns with positive ones. Over time, you will notice that your thoughts become more positive, and you feel more confident and empowered.

With nothing to lose, except maybe 3-5 minutes of your day, why not give it a try?
